Day 1: Airport – Casablanca – Marrakech.

Our driver will pick you up from the Casablanca airport for your 7-day Morocco Tour from
Casablanca. The tour takes you to see the Hassan 2 Mosque, the greatest mosque in Morocco
and the seventh largest in the world. Moreover, you will see the Pegans Square and Rick’s Cafe
for some photos. Finally, you are going to travel directly to Marrakech.

Stay in Marrakech for the night.

Your trip to Morocco continues today, as you spend the entire day discovering the
energetic city of Marrakech. Starting with a guided tour of the ancient medina at the iconic
Jamaa El Fna Square and the nearby Koutoubia Mosque, both UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
From there, you’ll travel more into the medina to see some of Marrakech’s most important and
ancient sites, such as the magnificent Bahia Palace, the El Badi Palace, and the ancient Ben
Youssef Madrassa, a medieval Islamic college renowned for its spectacular design.
Another well-known feature of Marrakech is its labyrinthine souks, which are brimming with
vibrant handicrafts, spices, carpets, and traditional items. We’ll eat lunch in the medina, where
we get to try regional cuisine. The stunning Majorelle Garden, a tranquil haven of exotic plants
and lively colours, will be your destination in the afternoon, before going back to your riad in
the late afternoon.

The evening in Marrakech.

Travelling across the 2260-meter-high Tizi n’Tichka pass over the High Atlas Mountains on
long, winding roads from Marrakech to Ouarzazate. The high mountain pass offers views of the
mountains. Alternatively, travelling across the Ounila Valley to Talouat Kasbah. You will also

reach Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the tour’s principal
sites, after traversing the Atlas.
A fortified village is traversed by the historic caravan route that connects Marrakesh with the
Sahara. Morocco’s rich past has also made it the setting for a number of popular films, such as
Kingdom of Heaven and The Mummy. Next, visit Atlas Studio in Ouarzazte before you settle
into the hotel.

The night will be Ourarzazate.

From the hotel, you will travel to Kalaat Magouna, which is also called the city of roses and
hosts the May rose festival. After that, the travel continues to Tinghir and the Todra valley,
where you can see the classic Berber mud homes that surround the valley in the distance. You
will get to the 400-meter milestone as you approach the Gorge. This is where rock climbers
come to practise their skills. After that, you travel to Erfoud via Touroug and Malaab. Lunch will
be given in Tinjdad.
Finally, you will ride camels to the desert tent in the afternoon after arriving in Merzouga. On
the way to the camp, you occasionally stop to see the splendour of the sunset. Following dinner
at the Camp, you might unwind for the evening while admiring the starry sky and listening
to music.

The tents at night.

To enjoy the stunning dawn from a high dune in the Sahara Desert, you must rise early
morning. Before returning to the community on a camel, everyone will have breakfast and take
a shower at the camp. After that, you will travel to the first stop, the Ziz Valley, which is covered
in palm trees. For the journey to Midelt, the apple capital, the Morocco Tour continues via the
upper Atlas foothills of Tizi Ntalghamt 1907 M.
After lunch in Midelt, continue your journey to the cedar forest, which is home to the Barbarian
monkey. Ifrane, additionally referred to as Morocco’s Switzerland, is the next city you visit.
Then, you will arrive in Fes in the evening.

Overnight in A riad in the Medina.

With a local guide, you will explore the city of Fes. Your first stops will be the royal castle,
the Jewish neighbourhood, and the ceramic manufacturing. After that, you explore the medina
by taking a lengthy stroll there. The renowned Al Qaraouine University, the Tanneries, and the
Attarine Museum are among its historical and cultural attractions. Following lunch, you will get
the opportunity to see the tile cooperative before taking in the stunning view of the entire
Medina of Fes.
In the afternoon, you travel to Meknes, one of the 4 imperial cities. When you get there, you’ll
see Lahdim Square. Moreover, Bab Mansour, a famous example of Moroccan architecture, is
located just across from the square. Also, you can visit some of the city’s interesting attractions,
such as the man-made Sahrij Swani Lake and the old underground jail that was in operation
under Sultan Moulay Ismail.

Night in Meknes.

Today is the last day of your 7-day Morocco Tour from Casablanca. After breakfast, you
will depart for Casablanca from the Riad. The journey to Rabat, the capital of Morocco, is the
first station. Rabat is situated on the Atlantic coast at the mouth of the Abi Ragrag River. First
up will be the Kasbah Oudayas. Next up will be the location of the ancient 1195 Hassan Tower.
Its minaret reaches a height of 44 meters, and its ultimate height was estimated to be 88
meters.

Before You Come to Morocco

To ensure a smooth and enjoyable trip, here are the key things to know before arriving in Morocco.

  • Most travelers can enter Morocco without a visa for stays of up to 90 days, but you should always check your country’s specific entry requirements. Make sure your passport is valid for at least six months from your arrival date.
  • Morocco’s main international airports are located in Casablanca, Marrakech, Rabat, Tangier, Fes, and Agadir. Booking flights early is recommended, especially during peak travel seasons.
  • Travel insurance is highly recommended and should cover medical care, trip interruptions, and lost luggage. The local currency is the Moroccan Dirham (MAD). While credit cards are accepted in many hotels and major shops, it’s always good to carry some cash for souks, small towns, and local purchases.
  • Morocco’s climate varies from the coast to the desert and mountains, so pack light clothing for daytime and a warmer layer for cooler evenings. Comfortable walking shoes are essential, and modest clothing is appreciated when visiting mosques or rural areas.
  • There are no mandatory vaccines for entry, but basic vaccinations are recommended. Tap water is generally safe in cities, though many visitors prefer bottled water. Morocco is a safe and welcoming country—just follow standard travel precautions.
  • Arabic and Amazigh are the official languages, but French and English are widely spoken in tourist areas. Learning a few simple phrases like Salam or Shukran is always appreciated.
  • Respecting local customs helps enrich your experience. Bargaining is a common part of shopping in markets, so feel free to enjoy the friendly negotiation.
  • For packing, bring your passport, essential documents, light and comfortable clothing, sun protection, a portable charger, and a small first-aid kit.
