From the airport, our 6-day Morocco tour from Fes to Casablanca will start, and our guide
will meet you at the Fes Airport. Following that, a local guide will accompany you as you explore
the medina.
You will then drive to the Royal Palace Gates, where you can have a walk through the Mellah
Jewish Quarter, which dates back to the 14th century. A broad overview of the Medina of Fes
as a whole is also included. Furthermore, you may see real Moroccan handicrafts at the pottery
or ceramics cooperative.
After that, you will stop by the well-known Gate in Fes Bab Boujloud. Next is the Attarine
Museum. In addition, you may see the tannery and the oldest university in the world Al
Qaraouyine. Additionally, lunch will be provided in the town’s historic district. At last, you will
make the journey to your Riad to spend the night there.

Spend the night at Fez.

We will pick you up from a hotel in Fes at 8:00 AM to begin your journey into the desert.
The first place you’ll go to snap pictures is Ifrane. To see the monkeys, you will then take a car
to Azrou’s “cedar forest.” The journey throughout the desert continues to Midelt, the apple
capital. After that, you reach Errachidia by passing across the “Tizi N Talghamt” pass. After
seeing the palm grove, the desert journey continues to the Ziz valley.
Next, the journey continues to Erfoud, which is well-known for its dates and fossils. Then,
you take dromedaries to the desert camping whenever you get to Merzouga. You’ll stop a few
times along the trip to grab photos and take in the sunset. After dinner at night, you will enjoy
the stars while listening to some music.

Spend the night at the camp.

After seeing the sunrise, eating breakfast, and taking a shower at the tents, you leave for a
desert camp in Merzouga. The Todra Gorge route to Ouarzazate passes through some of
Morocco's most stunning scenery. As you proceed west, you'll pass through Erfoud and the
oasis town of Tinghir, where verdant palm groves stand out against the dry surroundings. The
breathtaking Todra Gorge, a narrow canyon formed by the Todra River, features 300-meter-tall
sheer rock cliffs. It's the ideal place for a peaceful stroll and for rock climbing.
The Morocco Tour continues along the Route of a Thousand Kasbahs, passing through the
lovely Valleys of Roses and the Dades, where you may see ruins of kasbahs and traditional
Berber communities. The natural beauty opens up into broad plateaus with trees and historic
fortresses as you get closer to Ouarzazate, indicating that you have arrived in the picturesque
southern Moroccan region.

first destination. After that, head to the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, where you’re allowed to tour

others. Our Morocco tour travels to visit the Telouat Kasbah via the Ounila Valley. Then, travel
to the 2260-meter-high Tichka Pass, which spans the High Atlas mountains, where you will have
a few breaks for the stunning views on the road. After that, travel to Marrakech after crossing
the mountains.

Before You Come to Morocco

To ensure a smooth and enjoyable trip, here are the key things to know before arriving in Morocco.

  • Most travelers can enter Morocco without a visa for stays of up to 90 days, but you should always check your country’s specific entry requirements. Make sure your passport is valid for at least six months from your arrival date.
  • Morocco’s main international airports are located in Casablanca, Marrakech, Rabat, Tangier, Fes, and Agadir. Booking flights early is recommended, especially during peak travel seasons.
  • Travel insurance is highly recommended and should cover medical care, trip interruptions, and lost luggage. The local currency is the Moroccan Dirham (MAD). While credit cards are accepted in many hotels and major shops, it’s always good to carry some cash for souks, small towns, and local purchases.
  • Morocco’s climate varies from the coast to the desert and mountains, so pack light clothing for daytime and a warmer layer for cooler evenings. Comfortable walking shoes are essential, and modest clothing is appreciated when visiting mosques or rural areas.
  • There are no mandatory vaccines for entry, but basic vaccinations are recommended. Tap water is generally safe in cities, though many visitors prefer bottled water. Morocco is a safe and welcoming country—just follow standard travel precautions.
  • Arabic and Amazigh are the official languages, but French and English are widely spoken in tourist areas. Learning a few simple phrases like Salam or Shukran is always appreciated.
  • Respecting local customs helps enrich your experience. Bargaining is a common part of shopping in markets, so feel free to enjoy the friendly negotiation.
  • For packing, bring your passport, essential documents, light and comfortable clothing, sun protection, a portable charger, and a small first-aid kit.
