Embark on an unforgettable journey through Morocco’s breathtaking landscapes, from the bustling streets of Marrakech to the vast, golden sands of the Sahara Desert. Over four days, you’ll experience the country’s rich culture, majestic mountains, historic kasbahs, and serene desert landscapes.

Day 1: Marrakech – Mountains – Kasbahs – Ouarzazate.

On the primary day of your 4-day Desert tour from Marrakech to Fes, you journey from
Marrakech to Ouarzazate via lengthy, steep roads that travel the 2260-meter-high Tizi nTichka
pass over the High Atlas Mountains. Views of the mountains are available from the high
mountain pass. On the other hand, going to Talouat Kasbah via the Ounila Valley. Additionally,
after leaving the highlands, you will arrive at Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage
site and one of the tourists main stops.
The ancient caravan route between Marrakesh and the Sahara passes through a fortified town.
Due to its rich history, Morocco has also served as the backdrop for several well-known films,
including The Mummy and Kingdom of Heaven. Then, before you check into the hotel, travel to
Ouarzazte to see Atlas Studio.

Ourarzazate will be the night.

After breakfast at your accommodation, your trip begins with a first break in the Kasbah of
Taourirt before leaving Ouarzazate. Then, the Desert Trip takes a break at Skoura to explore the
renowned 17th-century kasbah of Amridil.
You subsequently travel to Kalaat Magouna, also known as the city of roses, where the May
rose festival is performed. The trip then leads you to the Dades Gorge. Before that, you will
take a stroll through the monkey-finger canyon. Before you head to your hotel, you will make
one last visit to the Gorge.

Spend the night in the Dades Valley.

The Sahara tour leaves for the desert in the morning after breakfast at the hotel. The trip
then continues to Tinghir and the Todra valley, where you can get a long-range view of the
traditional Berber mud houses that encircle the valley. When you get to the Gorge, you will
walk through the 400-meter mark. Rock climbers come here to partake in their chosen sport.
You then proceed via Touroug and Malaab to Erfoud. Tinjdad is where lunch will be served.

Once you reach Merzouga, you will ride camels to the desert tent in the afternoon.
Occasionally, you take a moment to appreciate the beauty of the sunset as you travel to the
camp. After the dinner at the Camp, you could relax for the evening listening to Berber music
while gazing up at the starry sky.

The night at the tents.

You have to get up early in the morning to see the beautiful sunrise from a high dune in the
Sahara Desert. There will be breakfast and a shower at the camp before they ride back to the
community on a camel. Following that, you will make your way to the first destination, the
palm-covered Ziz Valley. The Sahara Tour continues across the upper Atlas foothills of Tizi
Ntalghamt 1907 M to Midelt, the apple capital.
Then, continue your excursion to the cedar forest, which is home to the Barbarian monkey,
after lunch in Midelt. The next place you visit is Ifrane, also known as Morocco Switzerland.
Our guide will then leave you off at your destination in Fes, marking the end of the 4-day

Before You Come to Morocco

To ensure a smooth and enjoyable trip, here are the key things to know before arriving in Morocco.

  • Most travelers can enter Morocco without a visa for stays of up to 90 days, but you should always check your country’s specific entry requirements. Make sure your passport is valid for at least six months from your arrival date.
  • Morocco’s main international airports are located in Casablanca, Marrakech, Rabat, Tangier, Fes, and Agadir. Booking flights early is recommended, especially during peak travel seasons.
  • Travel insurance is highly recommended and should cover medical care, trip interruptions, and lost luggage. The local currency is the Moroccan Dirham (MAD). While credit cards are accepted in many hotels and major shops, it’s always good to carry some cash for souks, small towns, and local purchases.
  • Morocco’s climate varies from the coast to the desert and mountains, so pack light clothing for daytime and a warmer layer for cooler evenings. Comfortable walking shoes are essential, and modest clothing is appreciated when visiting mosques or rural areas.
  • There are no mandatory vaccines for entry, but basic vaccinations are recommended. Tap water is generally safe in cities, though many visitors prefer bottled water. Morocco is a safe and welcoming country—just follow standard travel precautions.
  • Arabic and Amazigh are the official languages, but French and English are widely spoken in tourist areas. Learning a few simple phrases like Salam or Shukran is always appreciated.
  • Respecting local customs helps enrich your experience. Bargaining is a common part of shopping in markets, so feel free to enjoy the friendly negotiation.
  • For packing, bring your passport, essential documents, light and comfortable clothing, sun protection, a portable charger, and a small first-aid kit.
