Day 1: Casablanca airport – Rabat.

We are greeted warmly at the Casablanca airport to start our 12-day Morocco Tour from
Casablanca. Then, we travel to Casablanca to see the city’s main attractions, like Peagen
Square, the Corniche, and the Hassan II Mosque. In addition, you will make the trip to the
capital to spend the night there. After checking into your Riad, you will have some free time to
explore the ancient town on your own.

The night in Casablanca.

It is feasible to visit the Oudaya Kasbah and the Hassan Tower in the morning before
heading north. Before reaching Chefchaouen, known as the blue city, our Morocco Tour
continues through the beautiful Rif Mountains. There, you can explore the medina on your own
as well as enjoy the main Square and the historic Kasbah.

The evening in Chefchaouen.

We leave Chefchaouen from your Riad and travel to the three-century-old Roman ruins of
Volubilis, which are recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Meknes, which was the
capital of the country under the Sultan Ismail in the 17th century, renowned for its imposing
gates and ancient medina, is the next stop on our Morocco Tour. Lastly, arrive in the late
afternoon in Fes, the cultural heartland of Morocco.

Spend the night at a Medina Riad.

We spend the morning exploring Fes with a local guide. The Medina, a UNESCO World
Heritage site, is a well-liked and culturally significant area of Morocco. It is also known for its
interesting cultural heritage. Some of the delights that the Fes Medina has to offer are as
follows:
Al Quaraouiyine University: Dating back to the ninth century, this mosque and university
complex is one of the world’s oldest continuously running educational systems.
A fantastic spot to watch the traditional colouring process is Chouara Tannery. We get to see
how artisans treat and color leather using methods that have remained unchanged throughout
the centuries.
Gates, Fes el-Bali: The famous Bab Bou Jeloud gate and the Royal Palace gate both have
gorgeous turquoise tiles.
A tour of a ceramic cooperative and an overview of the historic Medina of Fes will cap off our
Tour.

Overnight at the same Riad.

We are going to the mountains today, and Ifrane will be our first stop on the Tour. In
addition, monkeys can be seen in the cedar forest. The Morocco Tour will have lunch at
Khnifra. Proceed to the small village of Imilchil, which is well-known for its yearly Betrothal
Festival. In order to arrange marriages, the local Berber communities gather for this unique and
culturally rich celebration. Usually held in September, the festival is an important social and
cultural occasion. Young people from distant villages travel in their traditional attire to meet
prospective partners.
Imilchil is surrounded by beautiful high-altitude lakes, including Lake Isle and Lake Tislit.
Because of their lovely hilltop location, these lakes are popular destinations for photographers
and wildlife enthusiasts. A local legend about star-crossed lovers gave rise to the names “Bride’s
Veil”and “Groom’s Turban” for the lakes.

Spend the night in Imilchil.

Our Morocco tour schedule starts at your hotel in Imilchil as usual. The breathtaking
panorama of the High Atlas Mountains is shown on the journey. We will travel through a bunch
of villages en route to Dades Valley, such as Agoudal and Msemrir. If we have the chance, we

may visit a market there. Before arriving at your hotel in Dades Valley, the Morocco tour
itinerary continues to Dades Gorge for a stroll and a rest on the well-known Tessadrine road.

Spend the night in the Dades Valley.

Our journey of the Morocco tour begins in Dades Valley and travels to the Sahara Desert.
The rock formation that looks like a monkey’s fingers will be the first to break. Additionally, we
pass through Tinghir, which provides expansive views of the historic Berber towns, on our way
to Todra Gorge. We are going to visit the 400-meter-tall red cliffs where many rock climbers
hone their skills.
Following that, we are going to travel through Tinjdad and Tourong on your way to Erfoud.
Finally, all of you will ride a dromedary to the camp after reaching the Sahara Desert. Also, you
will stop along the way to take in the beauty of the setting sun over the dunes. After that, you
will relax in the desert in the evening while admiring the starry night sky and listening to Berber
music after dinner at the camp.

Spend the night in the camp in the desert.

You will be awakened early on our Morocco tour to witness the most spectacular dawn of
your life. After that, you return to Merzouga to begin our journey. The first stop will be in
Rissani to see the city’s renowned gate, which dates back to the 20th century, and its weekly
market. The road continues to Ouarzazate via two towns, Tazarine and Nkoub, which are well-
known for the Hannaa boshes. Before traversing the Anti-Atlas Mountains and reaching
Ouarzazate, there will be a stop in Agdaz to take in the panorama of the Daraa Valley. It is well-
known for the Kasbah of Taourirt and the Cinema Studio.

Spend the night at Ouarzazate.

The Morocco trip itinerary will start in the morning from your hotel and take you to the
Atlas Studio for the visit. Moreover, you will visit the Ait Ben Haddou, the most famous Kasbah
in Morocco. In addition, numerous films, such as Game of Thrones and The Odyssey, have been
filmed on this magnificent stage, which UNESCO named a World Heritage Site in 1987. The
Morocco tour to Marrakech, however, continues across the High Atlas Mountains, with
multiple stops planned to capture photographs of the Berber settlements and nature. Then,
we will arrive in Marrakech after crossing the hills.

Spend the night in Marrakech.

The trip to Morocco will introduce you to Marrakech’s intricate blend of history, culture,
and crowded marketplaces.
Jemaa el-Fnaa is a vibrant plaza for musicians, food vendors, and snake charmers. At night, it is
a swarm of activity.
Known for its imposing minaret, the Koutoubia Mosque is the biggest in Marrakech.
The Bahia Palace is a spectacular 19th-century palace with traditional Moroccan architecture
and stunning tilework.
The Medina Souks are lively marketplaces that sell everything from traditional crafts to linens
and spices throughout the winding lanes of Marrakech’s old town.
Garden Majorelle. Bright blue buildings and exotic flora may be found in the garden. The
Museum of Yves Saint Laurent.
Madrasa Ben Youssef: This former Islamic college is renowned for its exquisite architecture and
tilework.
You might then spend the remainder of the day exploring the city.

Spend the night in Marrakech.

We will visit Essaouira for the day as part of the Morocco tour. The Tour to the coast will
take roughly three hours from Marrakech. There will be stops along the route where you may
take pictures of the goats climbing the argan trees. Then, we may stop at an Argan Oil
cooperative to observe how women produce the oil. Additionally, our Morocco trip continues
to Essaouira, a charming seaside town where tourists may explore its Medina and promenade
along its gorgeous beach. Known for its beaches, modern art, antique crafts, and unique blend
of architectural styles, this charming, historic port city is located on the Atlantic coast.
Furthermore, Essaouira has a typical Portuguese harbour and Moorish features. You will return
to Marrakech in the afternoon for the night.

Spend the night in Marrakech.

Before You Come to Morocco

To ensure a smooth and enjoyable trip, here are the key things to know before arriving in Morocco.

  • Most travelers can enter Morocco without a visa for stays of up to 90 days, but you should always check your country’s specific entry requirements. Make sure your passport is valid for at least six months from your arrival date.
  • Morocco’s main international airports are located in Casablanca, Marrakech, Rabat, Tangier, Fes, and Agadir. Booking flights early is recommended, especially during peak travel seasons.
  • Travel insurance is highly recommended and should cover medical care, trip interruptions, and lost luggage. The local currency is the Moroccan Dirham (MAD). While credit cards are accepted in many hotels and major shops, it’s always good to carry some cash for souks, small towns, and local purchases.
  • Morocco’s climate varies from the coast to the desert and mountains, so pack light clothing for daytime and a warmer layer for cooler evenings. Comfortable walking shoes are essential, and modest clothing is appreciated when visiting mosques or rural areas.
  • There are no mandatory vaccines for entry, but basic vaccinations are recommended. Tap water is generally safe in cities, though many visitors prefer bottled water. Morocco is a safe and welcoming country—just follow standard travel precautions.
  • Arabic and Amazigh are the official languages, but French and English are widely spoken in tourist areas. Learning a few simple phrases like Salam or Shukran is always appreciated.
  • Respecting local customs helps enrich your experience. Bargaining is a common part of shopping in markets, so feel free to enjoy the friendly negotiation.
  • For packing, bring your passport, essential documents, light and comfortable clothing, sun protection, a portable charger, and a small first-aid kit.
