Day 1: Airport – Casablanca – Rabat.

When you meet our guide at the Casablanca airport, our 10-day Morocco tour from
Casablanca begins. We travel to the city to see Rick’s cafe and Hassan II’s mosque. Before we
depart for Rabat, we will also visit the Peagen Square. Moreover, you will have some free time
to explore the old part of town on your own once we check into the Riad.

The night in Rabat.

We leave your Riad in the morning to begin our journey. Kasbah Udaya is the first place
that should be visited. Next is the Hassan Tower mosque, which is still incomplete, started in
1195 by Yaakoub Al Mansour, and after 4 years of construction, Al Mansour died, and then the
construction stopped. After that, we travel north via the Rif Mountains as part of our Morocco
Tour. In the afternoon, we will arrive in Chefchaouen. You take a stroll to see the Kasbah, the
blue city streets, and Uta Hamam’s main square after we check into the Riad.

The evening in Chefchaouen.

We are going to travel the magnificent and productive Meknes road through northern
Morocco in the morning for our journey from Chefchaouen to Fes. Driving through the Rif
Mountains and taking in the incredible sights, the trip usually takes approximately 6 to 7 hours,
including the visit.  After that, we travel to the three-century-old Roman ruins of Volubilis. You
can visit sites like Bab Mansour and Lahdim Square during our pause at Meknes, a former

imperial city. We will travel to Fes in the late afternoon, so this is a useful and culturally
significant route.

Spend the night at a Medina Riad.

With a local guide, you explore Fes in the morning. A popular and culturally important part
of Morocco is the Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage site. It is renowned for having a rich
cultural history. The following are some of the pleasures that the Fes Medina has to offer:
The University of Al Quaraouiyine: One of the oldest operating school systems in the world, this
mosque and university complex dates back to the ninth century.
Chouara Tannery is a great spot to observe the traditional tanning process. You can see how
leather is treated and dyed by craftspeople using techniques that haven’t changed much
throughout the years.
Gates, Fes el-Bali: Both the Royal Palace gate and the Bab Bou Jeloud gate, a well-known
entrance, have wonderful blue tiles.
Your day will conclude with a tour of a ceramic cooperative and a general look around the old
Medina of Fes.

Overnight at the same Riad.

Today, we depart Fes for the Merzouga desert. Ifrane, also known locally as the
"Switzerland of Morocco," is where you will make your first stop. The Barbary monkeys will
then be visible as you travel through the Cedar forest. Before reaching Midelt, the apple city,
you have to travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains during your trip to Morocco.
Additionally, the excursion travels to the Ziz valley, the palm grove via the Tizi N’Talremt pass.
The journey continues to Erfoud, a city well-known for its fossils and dates, where you will stop
by a fossil factory. You will ride the camels to the tent in the afternoon. Then, you will pause en
route to take pictures and witness a breathtaking sunset. Furthermore, the dinner is at the
camp. Moreover, you will watch the stars while listening to different songs.
At the Desert Camp, spend the night.

At the Desert Camp, spend the night.

We begin our Morocco Tour by rising early to witness one of the most breathtaking
sunrises you have ever seen over the Sahara Desert. Breakfast is followed by a shower in the
desert tent. After there, the car trip continues to Rissani, where you can see one of Morocco’s
oldest marketplaces, or souks. Before lunch in Tinjdad, you will then take a quick tour of the
underground irrigation system. For some breathtaking scenery, the desert journey makes a halt in
the Todra Valley. You will also have some free time to take a walk and explore Todra Gorge.
After that, we travel to Kalaat Magouna to see a Cooperative for Roses. Your Sahara tour then
continues straight towards Ouarzazate. Photographs of Taourirt Kasbah and the Museum of
Cinema are available there, before checking into your hotel in Ouarzazate.

Spend the night in Ouarzazate.

Having breakfast at the Ouarzazate hotel, travel across the highlands to Marrakech. The
Atlas Studio is the first site to visit. The second is at Ait Benhaddou’s Kasbah. In 1986, UNESCO
named it a monument of universal heritage. Additionally, a number of films, such as The
Odyssey and The Mummy, were filmed there.
The Morocco Tour continues as you approach the Tizi N’Touchka Pass, which rises to a height of
2260 meters in the High Atlas Mountains. After about an hour of driving over the hills, you will
arrive at Marrakech. After all that, check into your Marrakech riad.

Spend the night in your Riad .

With a knowledgeable tour guide, the history, culture, and busy marketplaces of
Marrakech will all be artfully included in your trip to Morocco.
At night, Jemaa el-Fnaa is bustling with food vendors, snake charmers, and musicians.
The largest mosque in Marrakech is the Koutoubia Mosque, which is distinguished by its tall
minaret.

The Bahia Palace is a magnificent 19th-century palace featuring superb tilework and traditional
Moroccan architecture.
Along the winding streets of Marrakech’s old town are the popular Medina Souks, which
provide a wide range of goods from traditional crafts to spices and textiles.
Ben Youssef Madrasa: This old Islamic mosque is renowned for its wonderful mosaics and
craftsmanship.
The rest of the day could then be spent independently touring the city.

Spend the night in Marrakech .

You have the opportunity to see one of the most amazing cities on the Atlantic Ocean with
our Morocco Tour. As usual, after breakfast, you will go from Marrakesh to Essaouira, which is
on the coast. While travelling, you will have the chance to watch goats scaling Argan trees and
visit a cooperative that produces Argan Oil, a product that is entirely Moroccan. Then, you will
have free time once you get to Essaouira to explore the city on your own. Including the port,
where you might enjoy the fish, the “Cornish” beach, and a stroll around the medina.

Essaouira at night.

In the morning, we will travel back to the airport in Casablanca from Essaouira, where our
10-day Morocco tour from Casablanca ends. From Essaouira, the drive will take roughly six
hours. About three hours before your flight, our guide will drop you off at the Airport in

Before You Come to Morocco

To ensure a smooth and enjoyable trip, here are the key things to know before arriving in Morocco.

  • Most travelers can enter Morocco without a visa for stays of up to 90 days, but you should always check your country’s specific entry requirements. Make sure your passport is valid for at least six months from your arrival date.
  • Morocco’s main international airports are located in Casablanca, Marrakech, Rabat, Tangier, Fes, and Agadir. Booking flights early is recommended, especially during peak travel seasons.
  • Travel insurance is highly recommended and should cover medical care, trip interruptions, and lost luggage. The local currency is the Moroccan Dirham (MAD). While credit cards are accepted in many hotels and major shops, it’s always good to carry some cash for souks, small towns, and local purchases.
  • Morocco’s climate varies from the coast to the desert and mountains, so pack light clothing for daytime and a warmer layer for cooler evenings. Comfortable walking shoes are essential, and modest clothing is appreciated when visiting mosques or rural areas.
  • There are no mandatory vaccines for entry, but basic vaccinations are recommended. Tap water is generally safe in cities, though many visitors prefer bottled water. Morocco is a safe and welcoming country—just follow standard travel precautions.
  • Arabic and Amazigh are the official languages, but French and English are widely spoken in tourist areas. Learning a few simple phrases like Salam or Shukran is always appreciated.
  • Respecting local customs helps enrich your experience. Bargaining is a common part of shopping in markets, so feel free to enjoy the friendly negotiation.
  • For packing, bring your passport, essential documents, light and comfortable clothing, sun protection, a portable charger, and a small first-aid kit.
